Juicing Recipes – Try These Creative Ideas


Here are a few juicing recipes to give you a general idea, but you can use your imagination to come up with many recipes of your own.  Have fun trying different combinations and remember to use a wide variety over a period of time.

Juicing Recipes – Variety

I know you probably have your favorite vegetables that you like to juice. But variety is the spice of life and variety is important when juicing. Different vegetables contain nutrients that can be beneficial to different parts of the body.

By constantly changing the vegetables you juice, you get a broad spectrum of nutrition. This means that while one vegetable may be low in a certain vitamin or mineral, another vegetable may not. By having variety, you smooth out the bumps so to speak.

Juicing Recipes for Vegetables

Carrot Combo
• 5 or 6 carrots
• A handful of parsley
• 2 stalks of asparagus
• 2 celery stalks
• 2 brussels sprouts

Beetaholic
• ½ beetroot
• Some beet greens
• ½ to I. Cucumber

Bitter Sweet
• A small handful of watercress
• 1 to l4 kale leaves
• 4 carrots
• ½ to 1 apple (optional)

Bloody Maria
• up to 1/4 beetroot
• 2 celery stalks
• 2 carrot3

Broccoli Bob
• 3 or 4 broccoli florets
• A little bit of the broccoli stalk
• 3 carrots
• ½ to 1 apple

Caesar Salad
• 6 to 8 Romaine lettuce leaves
• 1 parsnip
• 4 carrots

Cabbage
A wedge of red or green cabbage
• 6 carrots

Celery Cassie
• 3 or 4 celery stalks
• ½ cucumber

Collard Cocktail
A handful of collard
greens
• 6 carrots
1 celery stalk

Green Surprise
• 1 or 2 kale leaves
• 2 celery stalks
• A few sprigs of parsley
• 3 or 4 carrots
• 1 apple

Flower Drink
• 3 or 4 caulifower lorets with stems
• A little bit. of the cauliflower stem
• A handful of coriander leaves
• 6 carrots
• 2 celery stalks

Hot Tamale
• 3 or 4 radishes
• Handful of radish sprouts
• ¼ beetroot
• ‘1/4 red or green pepper
• 1 parsnip
• ½ cucumber

Sweet Ginger
• 1 cm of ginger (approximately ¼ inch)
• i apple
• 4 carrots

Parsley in Charge
• A handful of parsley
• ½ cucumber
• 1 or 2 asparagus stalks
• 4 carrots

No Name
• A handful of dandelion leaves
• 1 kale leaf
• 4 carrots
• Fresh mint, basil or coriander leaves to your pleasing

Mr Sprout
• Handful of alfalfa or radish sprouts
• 5 or 6 carrots
• 4 green or red pepper

Juicing Recipes for Fruits

Grapefruit Surprise
• 2 or 3 apples
• ½ grapefruit
Remove the peel of the grapefruit but leave as much of the white membrane as possible.  The white membrane contains bioflavanoids.  Remove the seeds of the apple before juicing.

Orange Juice
• 3 oranges
Remove the peel but leave the white membrane.

Kiwi Drink
• 2 to 3 kiwis
• I orange
• Strawberries to taste
Peel the orange while leaving as much white membrane as possible.

Apricot Pear Combo
•  1 pear
• 3 or 4 apricots
